Our installation process is straightforward, transparent, and designed around your schedule. Most SimpliSolar residential systems are installed in a single day, from first panels on the roof to your system generating power.
The SimpliSolar Process
Every installation follows the same structured process — designed to protect your investment, keep you informed, and get your system generating as quickly as possible.
We review your electricity bills and roof details (via satellite imagery or a free site visit) and recommend the right system size for your home. You receive a written quote within 24 hours with a fixed price and projected savings breakdown.
Our engineers design your system layout, optimised for your roof orientation and shading conditions. We prepare all documentation for your network operator (Ausgrid, Endeavour, or Essential Energy) and submit the connection application on your behalf.
Once your network application is approved (typically 5–10 business days), we contact you to schedule the installation at a time that suits your household. Most systems are booked within 7–14 days of signing.
Our CEC-accredited team arrives at the agreed time and completes the installation — panels, inverter, mounting, wiring, and smart meter — in a single day. You are updated at each stage and a team member will walk you through the system before we leave.
We issue your Certificate of Electrical Safety (CES) and submit the connection notice to your DNSP. Your meter is upgraded to a bidirectional smart meter if required. Your system begins generating power immediately after switch-on.
We set up your inverter monitoring app and walk you through reading your production data. You receive all warranty certificates, certificates of compliance, and your inverter manual. Our team is available for follow-up questions at any time.
Installation Day
Here is what happens from the moment our team arrives to the moment your system switches on.
Our installers arrive and conduct a site safety briefing. Equipment and panels are moved to the work area.
Mounting rails are fixed to the roof, panels are secured and wired. Conduit and DC cabling run to the inverter location.
Inverter is mounted and connected, AC wiring to the switchboard is completed, isolators fitted to AS/NZS standards.
System is commissioned, monitoring app configured, and you receive a personal walkthrough before the team leaves.
