In these Terms of Service:
By accepting a Quote, submitting an enquiry through our website, or engaging SimpliSolar to provide any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms, do not proceed with any agreement or form submission.
These Terms apply to all residential and commercial solar installations, battery storage installations, and ancillary services provided by SimpliSolar. They may be supplemented by a specific installation agreement for commercial projects.
SimpliSolar provides the following services:
SimpliSolar reserves the right to decline any service request at its discretion, including where the installation site presents unusual structural, electrical, or safety conditions that cannot be resolved within the scope of a standard installation.
All quoted prices are fixed and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices include the application of eligible STC rebates (calculated at the time of quoting). The STC rebate is assigned to SimpliSolar in exchange for the discount applied to your invoice.
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, quotes may be subject to revision due to changes in component pricing, STC values, or government incentive programs.
If, upon site inspection, we discover that the agreed scope of work cannot be completed due to conditions not visible at the time of quoting (e.g. structural deficiencies, non-standard switchboard requirements, asbestos-containing materials), we will provide a revised quote before proceeding. You are under no obligation to accept a revised quote.
Where your installation is eligible for a government rebate (e.g. NSW Cheaper Home Batteries Program), we will apply for the rebate on your behalf and pass the full rebate value to you as a discount on your invoice. Rebate amounts are subject to change and are not guaranteed by SimpliSolar. If a rebate is reduced or withdrawn after your quote is issued, we will notify you promptly.
Installation will be scheduled following receipt of a signed quote and deposit. We will contact you to confirm a date that suits your availability. Our standard lead time is 1–3 weeks from acceptance, though this may vary depending on network connection application timeframes.
You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the installation site on the agreed date. This includes clear access to the roof, switchboard, and any battery installation location. If access cannot be provided, a rescheduling fee may apply.
All installations are performed by CEC-accredited installers in accordance with AS/NZS 5033 (Installation and Safety Requirements for Photovoltaic Arrays), AS/NZS 4777 (Grid Connection of Energy Systems via Inverters), and relevant NSW electrical safety legislation.
Your system will be handed over on the day of installation with a walkthrough of the monitoring app and basic operation. Network connection (and export approval) may take an additional 5–15 business days to activate, as this is controlled by your network distributor.
Our standard payment terms are:
Payment may be made by bank transfer (EFT), credit card, or approved finance arrangement. We do not accept cash for balances above $1,000. A credit card surcharge of 0.9% applies to Visa and Mastercard payments.
If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, SimpliSolar reserves the right to charge interest at 10% per annum on the outstanding amount and to withhold warranty documentation until the balance is settled.
SimpliSolar provides the following warranties on all residential installations:
Warranties are void or limited if:
